Casing is up

Window and door casing is up everywhere now.

As you can see the door hinge support structure is firmly in place, but needs the finishing touches of wood putty to cover the nail holes and then be painted.
The hideous old blinds are still in existence everywhere but the living room, but someday we shall get wood-slat blinds for all the rest. Some have asked why is the entire home so insulated, but the defining failure is the single-pane glass windows. Simple math, I don't plan to live here more than 5 years. New windows everywhere will be around $3,000 all said and done. New windows will save at most being generous $20 a month in utilities, 20x12x5=$1,200. And I doubt the windows will be a defining factor in the sale of said home... just does not add up.

Chair-rail is in.

Bathroom is ready for new laminate (stop-gap for when/if we do tile and redo the bathroom).
